Hi, I'm Michael Charles!

As the current founder of TechITurself and a technology specialist with over 27 years of hands-on experience helping everyday users and small businesses keep their computers fast, secure, and frustration-free.

TechITurself was born from a simple truth I discovered working with hundreds of clients: people are capable of fixing more than they think — they just need clear guidance in plain English.

Over the years, I saw many clients who wanted to learn the basics, handle simple issues themselves, or at least understand the words to describe their problem. What held them back wasn’t ability — it was the lack of someone who could explain things without jargon or overwhelm.

So I created TechITurself as a DIY Tech Academy where anyone can learn foundational tech skills, communicate clearly about issues, and feel confident handling everyday problems on their own — while still having expert support available when the tougher challenges arise.
